Neil Schoenblum is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management at First American Trust, FSB. Prior to joining First American Trust, he was Senior Trust Officer with Provident Trust Group and an attorney with the international law firm of King & Spalding.
Neil received his Juris Doctor degree from Cornell Law School. While in law school, he served as the Managing Editor of the Cornell Law Review. For his undergraduate studies, Neil attended Northwestern University, where he majored in Classics. Neil graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Most recently, he received an LL.M. degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
Neil is currently serving as the Vice President of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council. He previously served as the ABA Young Lawyers Division's 2013-2014 Vice Chair to the Committee on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law. Neil has authored or co-authored articles featured in publications including Oxford Journals' Trusts & Trustees, Estate Planning, CCH Estate Planning Review, Probate & Property, Los Angeles Lawyer, CCH Financial and Estate Planning, and Practical Tax Strategies. He has been quoted in Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, and CBS News online.
